You know, as much as Sheppard in this story frustrates me, I have to admit that you've gotten his reactions right. It's just so him to go ahead and reassure McKay that it's all fine and dandy and then totally freak out after it's all said and done. Act first, think later - it's the Sheppard motto! Poor McKay, having to put up with that. ;)
In case you didn't gather from my comment in the earlier chapter, I'm really enjoying this story. I'm really surprised I'm enjoying this story, because it's totally not something I'd normally read, but enjoying it I am.
