Seriously, I'm intrigued by this story. I'm thinking there's some sort of past incident in Shep's military career that's influencing his actions (you've hinted at that a bit) and I'd like to know what it is that happened. I'm a bit afraid of what the last day's trials will be. Especially if Shep doesn't come to his senses and realize that Rodney is no different.
Betcha Shep is jealous cause Rodney gets Carson and he doesn't. I know I would be.
I started reading this on beckett_mckay and have moved over here sometimes to see if you've posted here before posting on the community. Thought I'd put my $.02 here. It does have a rodney/carson pairing. I think their relationship is very important to the story. They were outed and now Sheppard has to deal with it. Yes it is John/Rodney friendship-centric but the fact that Rodney is with Carson, a man, is what is driving the story.
Do I wanna see more pretty Rodney/Carson moments? You bet! Will I be disappointed if I don't? Maybe a little. I think you have great opportunity for some Rodney/Carson loving since Rodney's gonna get back to Atlantis (he is right?) and Carson's gonna take one look at him, glare at Sheppard, give him a prostate exam with cold lube and cold hands and get back to Rodney to comfort him. mmmm... rodney/carson cuddles! Can I have some cuddles please? If that turns into comfort!sex, even better!
