Lorne makes a nice prop..but that is just my opinion. Others seem to have fondness for him so who am I too judge.

Oh, he's very pretty and kinda hot with a P90 aimed and his jaw clenched. And it's kinda fun how he almost out-snarks Rodney in Runner. ("I might have to forego reproducing." / "You know, I was just thinking the same thing...")

But, ya know, in a show full of pretty, hot, snarky guys... well, the most unique things about him is that the first time we meet him in SG-1 he loses his lunch at the sight of a dead body and has no idea that moving artefacts destroys 80% of the archeological information you could get from them. That and he seems to have no problem blowing up a couple of his men and then getting the hell outta there without even checking to see if either of them lived...
