so now that I've actually had time to read this...OMG, I absolutely loved it. I'm glad you stuck with the friendship ending, with the idea that something more could develop. And can I say I adore John calling Rodney the kid. This fic gave me the warm fuzzies!

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted a HS fic but I wanted it to be set in the present and not strictly an AU fic.It was one of those stories that just kept nagging at me until I wrote it.

Yay! I love having it all in one place. As soon as I get a chance I'm going to read it and love it all over again.

What a great story! I really like the way they both made such a difference in each other's life. John's protectiveness and affection for Rodney was great, too. Thank you!

I know this is a pretty old post now, but I just had to comment to let you know how much I loved Butterfly Effect.

It was a lovely story - it made me cry in parts, and smile in other parts. I'll definitely be reading it again and again.

It's interesting to think about how much our lives could have changed based on a seemingly inconsequential decision.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the story. It was great! :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to say so. It is one of my favorites and one of those that demanded to be written.

Glad you like it.
